Marketing glossary
On this page, you’ll find all those terms whose meanings you didn’t know.
We’ve tried to avoid them as much as possible on our site, but remember that marketing is a discipline which likes to use difficult terms.
Without further ado, let’s shed some light on the confusion.
- Digital map app. Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps.
- SEO Audit. Analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a brand's online presence, accompanied by an improvement plan to optimize the website and improve its search engine ranking.
- Structured data. It is code to help search engines understand the intent of a site's content. A standardized format, Schema.org, is used to mark up specific page elements, such as titles, descriptions, and reviews.
- Directories. These are ewbsites that function as a list of links, usually based on a specific topic.
- Exclusivity of the area. We set a threshold within which we will not accept other clients with a similar business to yours, to ensure the best execution of the agreed strategy.
- GBP. Google Business Profile, former Google My Business.
- NAP. Stands for Name, Address, Phone number.
- Irresistible offer. A proposal designed for your customers that sets you apart from the competition, making it hard for them to refuse. Learn more here.
- Hyperlocal website. A website that follows a specific SEO protocol and is aligned with a Google My Business profile to increase the chances of being found in a local search.
- Uptime. Web monitoring service to analyze the correct accessibility of the website by users.
